Remember When?

You used to be there for me all night?

Now I don't see you without a fight.

When I need you most, you show up late or not at all.

And when you do finally come you don't stay long.

You only come running when I have a glass of wine.

But then leave so abruptly without spending much time.

Why do I have to bribe you with a pill?

When all I used to do was just lay still.

I'm not myself when you don't show

For only you can keep me from being low. 

Maybe someday you'll come back and stay.

But until then I just want to say.
