Books

  1. Arianna  Huffington’s “Sleep Revolution.”
  2. This book has nothing to do with sleep, but for whatever reason, it's the book that finally put everything together for me. “You Are Here, Discovering the Magic of the Present Moment.”

Part of my journey was to dig deep and really try to understand why I'm not sleeping. I'm not saying that's the case for everyone (it can totally just be hormonal) but I had to look within for myself. So along with the things I've listed and some self-reflection, I was able to get some answers. This book talks about our relationship with fear and how we should treat fear like our baby. It's not a direct connection with sleep, but ever since I started feeling more compassion towards my fears and stopped fighting it, I find "sleepless," nights more peaceful and eventually drift off to sleep.
